Xero Limited (ASX: XRO) completed a successful A$1.85 billion (US$1.2 billion) institutional placement to fund its acquisition of Melio Limited. Approximately 10.5 million new shares at A$176 each were issued to institutional investors. A Share Purchase Plan (SPP) aims to raise ~A$200 million, offering eligible shareholders shares at the lower of the placement price or a 2% discount to the 5-day VWAP.
