Requirements
  • College degree preferred, high school diploma required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience or a recent college graduate with relevant coursework, internships, or project experience.
  • Insurance experience preferred
  • Ability to manage and complete multiple, concurrent tasks with multiple user interfaces.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Assertive, flexible, pro-active, team player with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity in business needs and requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with MS word, Excel and Visio
  • Understanding of databases, tables and fields in order to pull SQL queries a big plus

Responsibilities
  • Develops requirements and specifications that support the projects assigned to: business requirements, functional requirements, system requirements, and report specifications.
  • Acts as a senior team member to ensure project continues to align with project charter and business cases.
  • Develops test scenarios and test cases for use in system and integration testing.
  • Provides expertise to stakeholders on devising effective and efficient approaches to achieve the desired business outcomes.
  • Provides expertise in the modelling/mapping of business processes; conducts as-is/to-be business processes, is instrumental in the business process re-engineering (BPR) and involved in the change management exercise.
  • Writes and presents business cases.
  • Occasionally required to work late evening and weekends as needed.

Luma Capital Buys Stake in Markel Group - Richmond Today

Luma Capital S.A. SPF, an investment firm, purchased a new position in Markel Group Inc. (NYSE:MKL) during the fourth quarter, according to a recent SEC filing. Luma Capital bought 7,032 shares of the insurance provider's stock, valued at approximately $15.1 million, making it the third-largest position in Luma Capital's portfolio.
