Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 8–10 years of progressive marketing experience, with significant focus on strategic development and digital execution, is required.
  • Hands-on experience utilizing a customer relationship management system for audience segmentation, communication flow development, and campaign execution is required; Slate is preferred.
  • Expertise in audience segmentation, multi-channel campaign management, and working with external agencies is required.
  • The ability to lead complex, cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels is required.
  • The ability to collaborate across departments is required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication, negotiation, and project management skills are required.
  • The ability to develop and launch coordinated paid media campaigns across a variety of digital platforms is required.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is required.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the development and execution of a comprehensive graduate enrollment marketing strategy to increase visibility, generate qualified leads, and support enrollment goals across the university's graduate program portfolio.
  • Drive the development, implementation, and continuous optimization of an institution-wide graduate recruitment marketing plan that builds a measurable and sustainable framework for graduate programs.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external marketing and research agencies, guide market research initiatives, oversee strategy development, and direct the creation of core campaign assets.
  • Plan, develop, launch, and serve as the graduate subject matter expert for paid media campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and other digital platforms to drive lead generation and applications.
  • Lead day-to-day paid media campaign management and optimization through audience and keyword research, campaign testing, and related best practices.
  • Plan, develop, and launch organic marketing initiatives across web, email, print, and other channels to build awareness and drive lead generation for graduate programs.
  • Develop and manage the overarching website presence and user journey for graduate programs, incorporating digital best practices and search engine optimization strategies to increase visibility, organic traffic, and qualified leads.
  • Use enrollment data and market insights to inform segmentation, messaging, and budget allocation decisions, optimizing prospect generation and application volume.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of website performance and user engagement metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and content enhancement.
  • Develop and manage audience segmentation and personalized communication flows for graduate prospects within the Slate customer relationship management system.
  • Cultivate collaborative relationships with leadership, admissions, and marketing teams across academic colleges and departments to understand priorities, promote participation, and secure buy-in for centralized marketing strategies.
  • Work with University Communications and Marketing to ensure consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity standards across graduate marketing materials and support compelling creative development for campaign assets.
  • Establish and report key performance indicators for graduate recruitment marketing efforts and present data-driven insights and recommendations to academic and administrative leadership.

  • Dedicated experience in higher education graduate enrollment marketing is preferred.
  • A master's degree is preferred.
