- Understanding of networking concepts and security concepts in an enterprise or carrier environment.
- Understanding of IPSec VPNs in an enterprise or carrier setting.
- Experience working with Juniper firewalls, F5 firewalls, and Cisco equipment.
- Programming skills in Python, Java, and HTML.
- Manage enterprise-class firewalls, including firewall management systems, preferably Juniper ISG and SRX managed by Junos Space and F5 Big-IP AFM managed by Big-IQ.
- Manage enterprise- or carrier-class routers, specifically access control list management in an enterprise or carrier environment, preferably using Cisco IOS-XR on CRS, NX-OS on Nexus, or Juniper Junos on MX.
- Manage dynamic routing protocols in an enterprise environment, including external Border Gateway Protocol and internal Border Gateway Protocol.
- Deploy complex changes across multiple systems in an enterprise change-control environment.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate resources in advance of deadlines.
- Implement IPSec virtual private networks in an enterprise or carrier setting, preferably on FortiGate managed by FortiManager.
- Experience with Juniper ISG and SRX managed by Junos Space.
- Experience with F5 Big-IP AFM managed by Big-IQ.
- Experience with Cisco IOS-XR on CRS.
- Experience with NX-OS on Nexus.
- Experience with Juniper Junos on MX.
- Experience implementing IPSec VPNs on FortiGate managed by FortiManager.
