Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, science or computer science or relevant professional experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in the field of master data management
  • Demonstrates analytical ability and attention to detail
  • Delivers results while working under general direction on multiple tasks with competing timelines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Data Catalogs, Data Dictionaries
  • Experience with Data Quality Tools – SQL queries
  • English and French required – Work with Canada and US
Responsibilities
  • Organize council meetings with MDM Data Owners (& SMEs if applicable)
  • Work with corresponding Business Data Owners and Stewards with a potential to add to DS Council meetings
  • Establish & communicate responsibilities between MDM and the Business
  • Define business metadata
  • Build/refine business data glossary
  • Identify source of records
  • Document functional lineage of data journey
  • Define DQ standards and thresholds
  • Document business rules
  • Review monitoring dashboards & Manage exception reports
  • Work with MDM Operations to execute corrections
  • Identify and log issues
  • Review, Triage, assign ownership for issue resolution
  • Track remediation efforts
  • Close issue and communicate resolution.
