Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting business systems, including requirements development, analysis, and/or application testing.
  • Insurance industry experience preferred, with annuity operations experience strongly desired.
Responsibilities
  • Serves as a liaison between Annuity Operations and IT, ensuring operational needs are understood, prioritized, and delivered.
  • Builds and maintains strong partnerships with Operations and IT as well as a deep understanding of annuity products, processes, and supporting systems.
  • Defines operational scope and project objectives by analyzing annuity business processes, regulatory requirements, and system capabilities.
  • Analyzes and documents business and operational requirements by partnering with operations teams to support daily processing, reporting, and customer servicing needs.
  • Manages and maintains requirements throughout development, testing, and implementation to ensure alignment with operational workflows and controls.
  • Develops project plans, testing strategies, timelines, and estimates; communicates progress, risks, and impacts to stakeholders.
  • Supports the design and implementation of system and process enhancements that improve straight-through processing, accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Identifies opportunities for operational and process improvement by aligning technology solutions with operations business needs and regulatory considerations.
  • Validates production deployments by reviewing operational results, ensuring system changes support expected processing outcomes, and communicating impacts to operations teams.
  • Provides ongoing production support by analyzing operational issues and maintaining accurate system and process documentation.
  • Documents and communicates system changes, operational impacts, and support updates to ensure operational readiness and continuity.
  • Develops and delivers training materials or knowledge transfer to support operational teams during system changes and enhancements.
