The Opportunity:  

Doing DevSecOps well means development and automation. Making tasks repeatable and efficient across multiple environments requires infrastructure as code, scripting, and sometimes writing applications. Our cloud service broker team is looking for a Developer with a good understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, containerization, and networking to make new cloud capabilities available in secure environments.

You Have: 

• 6+ years of experience building software solutions using Azure in a secure environment

• 1+ years of experience automating solutions with PowerShell

• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Bicep and Terraform

• Experience with Platform as a Service technologies

• Experience deploying and working with Azure Landing Zones

• Experience in assisting with implementing and developing Azure policies

• Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS

• Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience with software engineering, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with software engineering

• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of start date

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience with disaster recovery services and concepts

• Experience with AWS

• Experience with Azure Sentinel, Microsoft security, and Azure services Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cloud Networking

• Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes 

• Experience deploying and managing Azure Virtual Desktop using Infrastructure as Code

• Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux and command-line interfaces, including Bash

• Experience in configuring Windows clients and servers, including Active Directory or Group Policies

• Experience with DevOps, Git and GitLab

• Master’s degree  

• Azure Architect Expert Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
