Requirements
  • High school diploma and three years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment or field, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Experience providing administrative and operational support in a university, educational, entrepreneurship, innovation, nonprofit, or similar environment.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities, schedules, deadlines, records, and priorities with strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with faculty and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and discretion, anticipate needs, resolve routine and non-routine issues, and follow through with limited direction.
  • Experience preparing communications, materials, presentations, or reports and using customer relationship management systems, databases, spreadsheets, or other tools to maintain accurate records and information.
Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative and logistical support for Innovation2Market and other assigned venture development initiatives, including scheduling, communications, materials, participant needs, and follow-up.
  • Support cohort sessions, venture workshops, mentor meetings, orientations, and events by arranging schedules, logistics, materials, communications, and related needs.
  • Assist with recruitment, application, selection, onboarding, and ongoing engagement activities for faculty innovators and other participants.
  • Support mentor participation by facilitating communications, scheduling meetings, maintaining information, and assisting with connections to venture teams.
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain materials, educational resources, templates, calendars, and documentation.
  • Maintain schedules and timelines, track activities and milestones, and provide timely communications and follow-up to participants and stakeholders.
  • Provide information and assistance to venture teams regarding requirements, resources, schedules, and connections across Edson E+I.
  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for program participants, faculty, mentors, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate communications and follow-up among participants, faculty, mentors, Edson E+I staff, and external partners.
  • Support engagement and outreach with faculty, mentors, industry experts, and ecosystem partners.
  • Coordinate with Edson E+I teams to connect participants with relevant programs, resources, and opportunities.
  • Support workshops, events, presentations, and community engagements as needed.
  • Maintain accurate participant records, customer relationship management data, program files, and databases.
  • Track and maintain program data, outcomes, and established performance metrics.
  • Collect and organize participant surveys, feedback, and evaluation information.
  • Compile data and prepare routine program reports, summaries, presentations, and updates.
  • Support data collection and documentation for grant, philanthropic, and other reporting requirements.
  • Support Institute-wide programs, events, and initiatives as assigned.
  • Participate in department meetings, planning activities, and professional development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
