Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • 4flow launched optaire at Gartner on May 4, 2026.
  • optaire plugs into ERP, APS, TMS, and WMS systems.
  • 4flow deepened industry proof through TRUMPF control-tower work and 2026 awards.

What critics are saying

  • optaire's real-time promises depend on messy ERP and WMS integrations.
  • SAP, Kinaxis, and Blue Yonder attack 4flow's planning-software wedge now.
  • If optaire underdelivers, 4flow loses software credibility and consulting margins.

What makes 4flow unique

  • 4flow combines consulting, software, and 4PL, unlike pure-play planners.
  • optaire unifies logistics, network, and risk optimization on one AI-native platform.
  • Gartner named 4flow a 2026 Leader in consulting and fourth-party logistics.

4flow unveils optaire AI platform for real-time supply chain optimization

4flow has launched optaire, an AI-native platform for end-to-end supply chain and logistics optimisation, at the Gartner Supply Chain Symposium/Xpo™ 2026. The modular platform helps businesses respond to disruptions, reduce costs and maintain service levels through continuous risk detection and real-time decision modelling. Unlike conventional platforms that optimise in cycles, optaire continuously identifies disruptions and creates alternative plans through AI embedded across logistics, network and risk management workflows. A shared data ontology enables the platform to operate from a unified view, turning data into real-time decisions that reduce logistics costs and improve delivery commitments. The platform integrates with existing ERP, TMS and WMS systems and allows organisations to build custom modules. Founded in 2000, 4flow operates from over 20 offices worldwide with more than 1,400 employees.
