As a Sales Development Representative, your main focus will be working in tandem with your teammates at TigerGraph to generate new sales opportunities and territory strategy. As you progress through your development, you will gain value exposure to the SaaS sales environment in a fast-growing, scaling company. Our hope is to see our Sales Development Representatives grow and develop beyond formal sales techniques and into a deeper knowledge in emerging technology and graph databases. We’re looking for individuals who are interested in continuing their career in SaaS, contributing to process development and improvements, and learning many skills while wearing many hats. Duties for the role:

• Developing outbound sales strategy for your territory in the enterprise segment
• Generate new sales opportunities and pipeline for your region. 
• Engage in conversations related to product and service information via cold calling, emailing, and other outreach activities
• Maintain a high-level of organization and flexibility within a fast-paced startup environment
• Follow-up on inbound leads and MQLs for the SDR organization
• Maintain composure and demeanor under monthly quota expectations
• Identify challenges and teach advanced concepts to prospects who may be unfamiliar with graph technology
• Leverages rejection as a positive experience to learn, develop, and adapt from
• Contribute to the team culture via engaging with your peers, providing feedback, and asking many questions
• Utilize your technical and value-based knowledge to create leads out of cold (or warm) outbound prospecting
• Ask qualifying questions to better understand client needs and timing
• Support and work on outbound campaigns created by marketing and sales
• Generate interest through follow up with relevant messaging based upon targeted segment
• Attend weekly sales meetings
• Participate in Sales Training, such as Demo Certification, Product Trainings, and Coaching/Development
• Leverage sales tools such as Salesforce, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach and others
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

• SaaS software knowledge required
• Database experience preferred, especially graph databases
• Outbound sales experience required
• A strong technical aptitude
• Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal
• A passion for sales
• A coachable and process-driven approach
• Eagerness to learn and develop

Required Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of relevant Sales Development experience in the Enterprise segment

The anticipated pay range for candidates who will work in Redwood City, CA is $35- $45 per hour plus bonus incentives. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. TigerGraph is a multi-state employer and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
