Requirements
  • Must have possessed JTAC-I and/or JTAC-SEE rating within the last four (4) years.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of SOF background or experience augmenting SOF as a JTAC for at least two cumulative years during operational deployments.
  • Current SECRET clearance required with the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET clearance (current TOP SECRET clearance preferred).
  • Recent experience in JTAC instruction and program management within AFSOC or equivalent organizations.
  • Familiarity with SRMS and CAS procedures.
  • Ability to operate and maintain JTAC-related equipment, including communications and night vision devices.
  • Must be willing to work in environments with proximity to live ordnance, military vehicles, and simulated pyrotechnics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office equipment for creating briefings and documentation.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Frequent travel required, including international deployments.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the contractor's primary point of contact for all prime and subcontractor staff, ensuring compliance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and unit Operating Instructions (OIs).
  • Manage contractor personnel, including maintaining training records, leave, and duty status for all contracted staff.
  • Assist the AFSOC JTAC Program Manager in overseeing JTAC training, standards, and evaluation programs at AFSOC HQ Hurlburt Field, FL.
  • Conduct evaluations, unit Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs), and record reviews while providing guidance to SOCOM and component PMs on JTAC-related issues.
  • Deliver JTAC instruction in live, virtual, and constructive environments, including classroom, simulator, and field settings.
  • Track and maintain training documents and progress, ensuring program compliance with service doctrine.
  • Schedule and coordinate range and fires assets for training missions while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Support or conduct no-notice evaluations for JTAC trainees, instructors, and examiners.
  • Operate specialized equipment and vehicles, such as highly mobile multi-wheeled vehicles and Battlefield Air Operations (BAO) equipment.
  • Act as Opposing Force (OPFOR) during training scenarios and provide emergency response as needed.
  • Develop training academics, visual aids, and courseware, and participate in related conferences, symposiums, and meetings.
  • Frequently travel and deploy to austere locations with limited infrastructure to deliver mission outcomes.
