Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One to two years of experience working in a manufacturing, assembly, or office environment is required.
  • Ability to read basic engineering drawings, blueprints, or technical schematics is required.
  • Experience reading and working with basic paperwork, checklists, or instructions is required.
  • Computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Word and Excel or other basic databases, are required.
  • Good eyesight, with or without glasses or contact lenses, is required to inspect small parts and read paperwork.
  • The candidate must be able to legally work in the United States.
  • The candidate must be a US Person as defined by ITAR, including US citizenship or resident alien status, or an eligible protected individual or person able to obtain required government authorization.
  • The candidate must qualify for access to controlled technology subject to US export controls.
Responsibilities
  • Review and organize First Article Inspection Reports and Acceptance Test Plans to verify their accuracy.
  • Act as a Product Release Delegate to inspect finished parts and sign off on products for shipment to customers.
  • Schedule and prepare paperwork for customer and government inspectors visiting the facility.
  • Support incoming inspection or assembly departments by inspecting parts or assisting production as needed.
  • Enter quality information, test results, and records accurately into computer systems.
  • Organize files, scan documents, and use software to track and manage quality-team actions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a Quality Department or as a Quality Inspector or Technician.
  • Experience working in a factory that makes parts for aerospace, military, or defense customers.
  • A Delegated Product Release Verification, IPC-620, J-STD-001, or other industry certification.
  • Experience using manufacturing or tracking software such as Fourth Shift.
  • Experience working in a team environment to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues.
