- Previous UI/UX design experience, including page layout, screen/form mock-ups, and wireframe development.
- High proficiency developing transactional web applications and web services using Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Servlets, Java, AJAX, XML, Spring Framework, JSP, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL.
- High proficiency developing RESTful and SOAP web services, including WSDL, XML, and JSON.
- Previous experience developing applications using Oracle WebLogic/J2EE application server.
- Previous experience developing applications using Oracle RDBMS.
- Previous experience using Git version control tools.
- Previous experience with IDE tools such as Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, and Eclipse.
- Experience translating requirements into designs and developing applications.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Ability to collaborate with other web developers to standardize application design and structure and share ideas for efficient application development.
- Willingness to contribute to application development process-improvement efforts.
- Ability to adapt to the current lifecycle workflow and iterative release process.
- Ability to perform technical tasks independently and as a team member while working on multiple tasks as priorities shift.
- Excellent English-language oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Perform UI/UX and back-end web application development in a J2SE/J2EE environment while working in a team setting.
- Work on some new development and mostly existing or legacy code and development.
- Develop new work primarily in Angular and legacy work in Ext JS.
- Preferred active Top Secret or Q clearance.
- Previous experience with Ext JS 3.x/4.x.
- Previous experience with Jasper iReport.

Edgewater wins IT managed services contract with Argonne National Laboratory. Edgewater Federal Solutions has won a 5-year contract to be the IT managed service provider for Argonne National Laboratory. Argonne is operated by UChicago Argonne, LLC, for the Energy Department. The 1,500-acre campus employs over 4,500 people, including approximately 1,600 scientists and engineers. Under the contract, Edgewater will deliver comprehensive managed IT services to support Argonne's critical research mission across energy, environment, national security and STEM disciplines, the company said. "We are honored to partner with Argonne National Laboratory in support of its vital research mission," said Rodger Jones, Energy+ president of Edgewater Federal Solutions. "This award expands our footprint across the DOE's national laboratory complex. Our growing presence in this space underscores our commitment to delivering secure, reliable, and mission-focused IT services that enable scientific discovery at the highest level." Edgewater's services include service desk operations, on-site and remote end-user support, integrated IT and audio-visual services, and management of Argonne's ITSM platform to provide a scalable, flexible and resilient hybrid support model.
