- A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least three years of experience in audio engineering, live events, or sports audio production.
- Extensive knowledge of Apple computer systems, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live, and Adobe Premiere.
- Working knowledge of professional-grade recording microphones and experience directing talent for voice-over sessions.
- Proficiency in audio engineering, including signal flow, equalization, compression, effects processing, tuning, mixing, and editing.
- Familiarity with digital and analog audio equipment, including microphones, preamps, MIDI controllers, audio interfaces, audio consoles, interruptible foldback, and mixing control surfaces.
- Advanced knowledge of Apple computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, file hierarchy, basic networking and file management, and editing and converting audio and video file formats.
- Ability to collaborate, support others, and work independently when given direction.
- Availability to adjust the hybrid schedule as directed to support in-house audio booth needs.
- A portfolio link must be provided.
- Create and produce high-fidelity dynamic sound design and stereo mixes for radio and video productions.
- Ensure broadcast distribution channel standards are met or exceeded.
- Select project-based music in partnership with the Audio Producer, Senior Producer, and Editors, and present appropriate selections to senior leadership and business partners.
- Enhance broadcast shows, feature segments, highlights, digital videos, public-address announcements, and radio spots with sound design elements using sound libraries, Foley creations, location recordings, and other resources.
- Manage the operation, functionality, and technical needs of the in-house audio recording booth in partnership with the Audio Producer.
- Serve as backup to the Senior Audio Producer by directing and engineering voice-over recording sessions in the in-house audio booth.
- Broadcast mix television, promotional, digital, and corporate videos, as well as radio advertising spots, across Feld Entertainment properties while adhering to network broadcast standards.
- Engineer on-site voice-over recording sessions for video and radio productions when requested.
- Edit audio with Pro Tools, including recording vocals and basic rhythm tracks, multitrack editing, mixing, and mastering.
- Pro Tools certification.
- Music abilities and strong musicianship.
- Knowledge of Logic Pro and Ableton Live for recording vocals and basic rhythm tracks.
- Awareness of broadcast plug-in support for enhancing audio quality.
