Requirements
  • Have 5+ years of professional experience designing for web-based, prosumer SaaS applications (e.g. Notion, Figma, Miro, Canva) and tools. Are highly proficient in Figma.
  • Have demonstrated deep interest and/or have prior exposure to design patterns for working with generative AI models.
  • Have shipped 0→1 products and demonstrated ability to do rapid prototyping.
  • Have built and maintained design systems/component libraries from scratch.
  • Have a deep understanding of the end-to-end design process, from brainstorming to prototyping and visual design to post-launch research and iteration.
  • Champion great design and UX patterns throughout our culture and product.
  • Willingness to be scrappy and ship fast.
  • (Bonus) You can write frontend code.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of our product features and end-to-end user experience, ensuring the product is intuitive, visually appealing, and functionally sets the bar in the industry.
  • Work closely with our design partners to understand how Essential’s product will integrate into their workflow.
  • Imagine, design, iterate, and build beautiful UX patterns to rethink how companies and businesses will interact with data.
