BoomPop is on a mission to bring people together. We make it easy for you to have fun and connect on a human level with the people you work with, no matter where you are.
We launched with amazing virtual events and quickly expanded to IRL (think: offsites, retreats, client summits, annual kickoffs) as well as a single platform that makes it easy for any company to manage everything in one place. Although we’re barely over 2yrs old, we have over 4,000 clients (Google, Apple, Netflix, Nike, Accenture) and have brought over 150,000 people together so far. And we’re just getting started.
Umm… corporate events?
Oh YES, corporate events. We, as humans, spend ⅓ of our time working. And ⅓ asleep. The majority of our life is spent with people at work! The tectonic shift that is remote work has left 57% of office space vacant (yeah…$1.7T of annual spend: poof), and companies such as Airbnb, Salesforce, Shopify, and Reddit are all adopting the new mantra: “Offsites are the new office.” Companies around the world need help bringing their teams together and our goal is to make planning a company kickoff, client summit, or retreat as easy as buying products on Amazon. Watch. Us. Do. It. (Or actually, come help.)
Group travel pre-pandemic was already 40% of the $800B corporate travel industry and it’s absolutely exploding as companies shift facilities spend to IRL events. (by the way, 73% of clients are managers planning events for the first time in their careers … shouldn’t be their job.)
About the role
We are seeking a results-driven Enterprise Sales Director to own our efforts in expanding our client base. As the Enterprise Sales Director at BoomPop, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, securing, and growing new enterprise-level accounts. This role requires someone able to quickly assess customer requirements, allowing you to offer innovative insights, implement industry-leading practices, and grow client relationships. This role reports into the VP of Growth, and you will be a key member of developing and executing BoomPop’s enterprise sales and growth strategy.
What You’ll Do:
- Own, build and optimize new sales processes to maximize enterprise sales growth, including playbooks, outbound strategies, collateral, metrics and tracking. Proactively identify and implement new strategies to improve sales cycles.
- Identify strategic opportunities for expansion of accounts, market, or BoomPop services within enterprise organizations.
- Lead pre-sales and post-sales customer experience for enterprise customers.
- Manage sales pipeline to proactively ensure sales goals are met.
- Collaborate with growth, marketing, operations, and product to ensure excellent and efficient sales performance.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand BoomPop’s customer base within enterprise customers.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations. Test and optimize new messaging for unique ICPs.
- Observe and understand competitor landscape and trends, and enact improvements.
- Closely track and report on sales results to stakeholders and provide key takeaways and feedback. Identify and proactively implement improvements.
- Identify and oversee targeted prospecting activities for new accounts and account expansion.
- Oversee sales and customer data to ensure accurate customer data and sales reporting.
- Negotiate and manage all contracts and contract processes.
What You Have:
- 4+ years selling to large, complex enterprise organizations.
- 3+ years sales leadership experience in a high-tech startup environment.
- Prior success in B2B or SaaS sales management.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
The salary range for this position is $150k-$200k OTE (uncapped)
