Land Development Manager – Wyoming, Michigan

DISHER is currently partnering with a home builder in West Michigan in their search for a Land Development Manager. The Land Development Manager will be responsible for managing new residential developments through all phases of development including, planning, budgeting, entitlement, vendor management, design and construction.

What you will get to do:

Manage new development feasibility studies, budgets, and schedules to deliver land inventory needed to meet growth goals
coordinate all consultants, vendors, and engineers to oversee the development due diligence process and documentation
Maintain lot inventory tracking
Refine and implement development department standards to ensure quality and consistency across the portfolio of communities
Coordinate HOA set up and governing documents
Maintain project files for individual development projects
Collaborate with sales, accounting, and construction in the course of daily duties

What will make you successful:

2+ years of experience in land development
Detail oriented with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Experience working on projects for cities, counties and municipalities preferred
Excellent grammar, editing and proofreading skills
Strong interpersonal and verbal skills
Able to work proactively and independently
Bachelors degree preferred
