The Role: The Finance organization is responsible for the accounting and financial management, as well as the control environment, for WorldQuant on a global basis. The team works closely with line managers, local accounting groups and advisors/consulting firms for affiliated offices around the world.
We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Process accounts payable and other financial activities including; expense report submissions, credit card transactions, cash reconciliations, and supplier configurations
- Assist with ad hoc projects including preparing schedules for the global consolidated audit
What You’ll Bring:
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Quick learner with strong attention to detail and focus
- Self-motivated, takes initiative with minimal direction
- Ability to prioritize multiple daily work activities
- Advanced Excel skills are a plus and will be evaluated as part of the interview process
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred
- Prior exposure in a multinational workforce culture is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
