Requirements
  • A master's degree with relevant experience.

Responsibilities
  • Teach up to 6 credit hours, consisting of two sections of Japanese Culture Through Film, according to the course curriculum, Department of Modern Languages requirements, University General Education TAG requirements, and course learning objectives.
  • Develop lesson plans and assignments based on the provided course syllabus.
  • Update course information on Brightspace or another approved learning management system.
  • Grade assignments and provide feedback to support revision.
  • Maintain the Brightspace gradebook so students are aware of their grades throughout the semester.
  • Respond to emails from students and University administration.
  • Maintain office hours or another method for students to meet with the instructor.
  • Fulfill the teaching responsibilities of assigned courses on a part-time basis for an appointed term.

  • Previous collegiate teaching experience.
