What you’ll get to do:

• Lead the development of innovative new products, features, and enhancements.
• Develop processes including DFMEA, feasibility activities, CAD models, GD&T, and tolerances and implement them into production.
• Develop tools to gather ideas and concepts from employees, to include in the NPD pipeline.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering leaders to define Design for Manufacturing (DFM) efforts that support Manufacturing and New Product Development (NPD).
• Identify areas of opportunity for DFM and standardization through research, observation, and trends.
• Work with internal and external resources to develop rapid prototypes, Proof of Concept prototypes, and functional prototypes as needed.
• Work closely with leadership to provide feedback and input for long-term DFM and standardization strategy and vision.
• Develop deep expertise in all business applications of the ERP System. Drive standards and educate others to help optimize the utility of the system.  Ensure best practices and standards are documented.

What will make you successful:

• 10+ years of relevant professional experience in product development
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar program. A Master’s degree in engineering is beneficial.
• Deep experience applying Design for Six Sigma product development processes with DoE and other specific problem-solving tools.
• Excellent project management skills: demonstrated ability to organize and manage complex projects simultaneously to meet key deadlines is essential as is the ability to bring projects to successful completion.
• Self-starter that is driven to grow professionally and technically.
• Must have the current and continuing right to work in the United States of America without restrictions or expirations.
