  • 2+ years of experience working in the field of game economy
  • Good understanding of behavioural economics and motivational theories
  • Experience in predictive analytics, segmentation, and related areas
  • A proven understanding of SQL
  • Possessing a solid grasp of numerical simulation methods and their applications (such as Monte Carlo, Metropolis-Hastings, etc.) is beneficial
  • Intermediate Python or R is an advantage
  • Great personal communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Assist the teams responsible for product development, game operations, and data management by accurately understanding the game economy to drive growth and improve player happiness. This will include creating and testing high-level strategies for pricing of all purchasable items and collectibles, and balancing the economy of the game.
  • Explore the segmentation of the players based on behaviour and motivation theory, and recommend new and useful segments to use for our game operations and feature design.
  • Define and help build simulations and predictive models to forecast the results of changes and balancing of content, for optimal player experience.
  • Increase the level of insights in the game economy within the teams.
  • Implement game economy guidelines and promote knowledge sharing across the company, collaborating with other Game Economy Managers to develop this knowledge base.

Aristocrat acquires Gaming Analytics to add AI-driven casino data tools to its portfolio

Aristocrat Leisure has acquired Gaming Analytics, a US-based provider of AI-driven casino data tools, for an undisclosed amount. The San Francisco-headquartered company specialises in real-time player analytics, slot optimisation and marketing automation software that integrates with existing casino management systems. Gaming Analytics employs over 30 professionals across the United States, Spain, India and Canada. Founder and chief executive Kiran Brahmandam has joined Aristocrat as managing director of gaming analytics. The company will continue supporting existing customers without disruption. The acquisition strengthens the Australia-listed slot machine maker's position in land-based gaming analytics, adding an AI layer to its ecosystem. The technology aims to help casino operators improve player tracking and deliver more targeted marketing through real-time data collection and personalised engagement tools.
