Requirements
  • Previous experience (eight years or more) in sales, brand marketing, communications, public relations, digital marketing or revenue management.
  • Strong sales and revenue management expertise. Financial and consumer marketing acumen.
  • Experience in managing all hotel sales segments and feeder markets such as Intra-Europe, Asia and the US. Experience in managing revenue, events & marketing.
  • Fluent in French & English.
  • Confidence interacting with high-profile guests, VIPs and industry partners, in addition to representing the hotel at sales events and conferences.
  • Able to cultivate warm and productive industry relationships, as well as lead and mentor the sales & marketing team.
  • Exceptional personal presentation, as this role will be a brand ambassador.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and execution of the hotel’s annual Sales, Revenue Management, Digital Marketing, and Brand Marketing strategies to achieve ambitious room, banquet, and total hotel revenue targets.
  • Drive the commercial strategy across all key market segments (corporate, consortia, leisure/wholesale, partnerships, government, MICE), ensuring an optimal business mix and maximising profitability.
  • Oversee revenue optimisation and pricing strategy, including forecasting, inventory controls, competitive analysis, OTA performance, and the effectiveness of the reservations function to ensure strong yield and market positioning.
  • Shape and elevate the hotel’s global brand presence, acting as Brand Guardian to ensure all marketing assets and communications uphold Peninsula brand standards and drive awareness and engagement.
  • Strengthen the hotel’s market influence through high‑impact PR, media relations, and strategic partnerships with luxury brands, key travel partners, influencers, and the wider community.
  • Serve as a senior commercial advisor to the Managing Director and Executive Committee, providing insights, briefings, and strategic direction on all Sales & Marketing matters.
  • Lead the planning and management of the Sales & Marketing budget and P&L, ensuring strong financial discipline, performance tracking, and continuous improvement across the division.
