This hands-on position involves working outdoors in dynamic environments, interpreting electrical schematics, installingconduitand wiring, setting up inverters and transformers, and ensuring all systems meet code and safety standards.
Install, repair, andmaintainconduit, grounding, motors, transformers, generators, lights, appliances, circuits, wiring, and other electrical system equipment,and components
Ensure compliance with design drawings, electrical codes, standards, and regulations
Set major equipment including breakers, switches, instrument transformers, reactors, and capacitor banks
Other labor-related responsibilities
Working outdoors for extended periods oftimesin various weather conditions
A state-issued unlimited journeyman electrician license; OR equivalent combination of education and experience with willingness to obtain journeyman license prior to start
Knowledge of OSHA regulations
Ability to passa pre-employment physical,drugand alcohol screen
Willingness to travel andrelocateto the job site (100% travel)
Must be able to work consistently outside,frequentlyin inclement weather
Previousexperience working on renewable energy projects or large-scale construction projects
Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Forklift, skid steer, mini excavator, trencher, and/or manlift experience
