Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and maintenance of automated software deployment processes and tools
• Work with cloud software to create CI/CD pipelines
• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of a cross-platform ecosystem of analytical tools, ML models, and supporting applications
• Support, develop, and advise development team on collaborative development tools and best practices
• Maintain and develop testing automation pipelines for software projects
• Work with technical staff and other team members to document and train team members on DevOps standards, tools, and pipelines
• Advise on security best practices and support implementation of DevSecOps and software architectures in line with industry standards
• Support implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) in a multi-cloud environment
• Configure and support automated monitoring of cloud resources

Required Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field with minimum 4 years’ experience working or a combination of postgraduate studies and working in a technical field as described above
• Experience supporting technical teams in an Agile environment
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with version control system, e.g., Git
• Experience advising on and developing CI/CD pipelines
• Experience using and setting up DevOps pipelines in AWS, Azure DevOps, or similar cloud platform
• Experience leveraging cloud platforms to build secure and scalable data and code infrastructure
• Knowledge of containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes

Desired Skills and Abilities

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• At least 8 years’ experience working in a technical field as described above
• Experience with modern CI/CD automation tools, e.g., Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Maven, Ant, etc.
• Experience with modern infrastructure automation tools, e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, AWS Cloudformation
• Significant Kubernetes experience
• Experience with modern testing automation tools and frameworks, e.g., Selenium, Cypress, PyTest
• Significant Python experience
• Experience within the military healthcare or DoD space
