  • A diploma or an Associate's degree in respiratory therapy from an Accredited Respiratory Care Education Program is required.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required.
  • A Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner license, or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice, is required; the license must be obtained within 6 months.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Responsibilities
  • Apply clinical knowledge while providing respiratory therapy care in a fast-paced environment with complex acuities.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy from an Accredited Respiratory Care Education Program is preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
