  • Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ years for Principal Network Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience, OR Master's degree with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years for Senior Principal Network Engineer; 13+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and polygraph
  • Security+ certified
  • Ability to work within a group or independently
  • Travel a minimum of 20%
Responsibilities
  • Design and plan network communication systems
  • Provide specifications and detailed schematics for network architecture
  • Troubleshoot and isolate network faults and failures in a LAN/WAN environment
  • Provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selections, implementation techniques and tools for the most efficient solution to meet business needs
  • Conduct testing of network design
  • Maintain technical expertise in all areas of network and software interconnections and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers etc.
  • Evaluate and report on new communication technologies to enhance capabilities of the network
