  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline from a four-year accredited college or university.
  • Two or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination of years of work experience and education.
  • Minimum of two-years of experience writing Emergency Planning Hazards Assessments and All-Hazards Surveys at DOE sites in accordance with DOE O 151.1.
  • Eligible to obtain a DOE Q clearance and access to Commercial Nuclear Facilities.
  • Ability to travel on business as needed.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Willingness to learn new subject areas and be flexible in assignments.
  • Ability to perform as part of a team.
  • Creative problem solver.
  • Ability to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Customer-focused attitude.
  • Advanced abilities with Microsoft Office Suite.
Responsibilities
  • Develop technical reports and plans designed to identify hazards, vulnerabilities, and/or consequences, in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Design complex emergency scenarios to support drills and exercises.
  • Forge strong partnerships with our clients to support their immediate and long-term needs.
  • Support the development of Emergency Services programmatic documents and standards.
  • Provide solutions to complex issues/problems using in-depth analytical processes and technically sound strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
