ManTech is seeking an Electronic Technician to repair and maintain electronic equipment supported by NSWC Crane Radar Technology Division (WXP). Use of special tools and calibration devices will aide in your ability to test and repair equipment. Support WXP engineering and analysis efforts by providing technical hands-on capabilities as needed.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Interpreting and integrating hardware based on drawings, system wiring diagrams, and interface circuit boards
Troubleshooting, repair, and testing of CCA’s and assemblies
Handling of PCBs and able to abide by all Electronic Discharge processes and procedures
Support the NAVSUP legacy workload in troubleshooting and repairing the SPS-40 and OE-120 workload
Soldering to revise printed circuit boards
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates with 0 years of experience or High School with 3 years of relevant experience
Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), High voltage training, Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) and associated training is required to perform the duties in designated work areas
Must possess solder certification to IPC requirements such as IPC J-STD-001, IPC 7711/7721
Experience in reading, understanding, and creating technical drawings (schematics) of electrical equipment.
Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting NSWC Crane projects
Associate’s Degree or higher in Electronics.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Basic to intermediate level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Clearance Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship required and an active and current Secret clearance
Required to get a CAC badge as well as Base Security Access approval
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry 50 Lbs.
Work extensive time in stationary positions.
Climb and descend ladders
