Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in a Medicare Advantage marketing, sales, or compliance role. Including an intimate knowledge of Medicare plan details, including benefits, coverages, member costs, etc.
  • Must be able to work with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Product, Content, and other business leaders on an ongoing basis.
  • Experience creating processes to proactively identify risks and solve potential issues before they enter production environment
  • Must thrive in a highly-regulated, highly collaborative, high-speed environment; comfortable making decisions based on incomplete information.
  • Willingness to collaborate with business leadership to challenge and align on business and financial objectives and KPIs that then fuel the compliance strategy.
  • Strong communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities
  • Execute the strategic compliance roadmap to scale our Medicare Advantage compliance organization. This includes coordination with product, developers, content, and legal teams to implement necessary changes or updates.
  • Thoroughly review and examine all Medicare-related information shown to consumers to ensure it's up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with current regulations. Support the on time delivery of marketing communications across multiple channels and work streams, including the development and review of CMS-required regulatory documents in preparation for each Annual Enrollment Period (AEP).
  • Own ongoing process improvement to continually improve the state of compliance within the team in partnership with legal. This will involve working with legal SMEs to review CMS updates, and develop and implement action plans to ensure compliance.
  • Regularly review and assess Medicare products to ensure continued compliance with Compliance requirements. Prepare reports for legal and leadership, highlighting compliance issues and recommending improvements.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to provide guidance or training to other team members on Medicare compliance requirements for web content.
