Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Havebury staff and suppliers to ensure clear communication, prompt delivery, and provision of the right products and services first time.
  • Help ensure materials, plant, and waste services are provided promptly and efficiently.
  • Help develop van stock profiles to reduce the need to purchase special-order materials.
  • Answer queries from field operatives and schedulers about orders and advise on van stock issues.
  • Track and update orders with pending materials, follow up in a timely manner, and highlight delays, exceptions, or escalated issues to the Operations Hub Supervisor and schedulers.
  • Receive and check incoming deliveries and identify and report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged items.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse and yard, ensuring materials are stored correctly and remain accessible.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with technicians and ensure timely access to materials, tools, personal protective equipment, and workwear.
  • Carry out routine portable appliance testing of equipment and maintain inspection records.
  • Carry out routine audits on materials, van stocks, plant equipment, uniform, personal protective equipment, power tools, ladders, and fire extinguishers.
  • Assist with weekly, monthly, and annual stock-control activities and ensure inventory records are accurate and up to date.
  • Assist with issuing and controlling uniform and personal protective equipment.
  • Carry out monthly and weekly facilities-safety and fire checks and update records in the central system.
Desired Qualifications
  • A background in housing repairs and diagnostics or technical-knowledge awareness.
  • Previous experience of working in a warehousing environment.
  • Portable appliance testing experience.
  • An articulated forklift license.
  • A driving license.
