While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually to foster collaboration, connection, and alignment. Attendance is expected and fully supported.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):

As a Program Manager, you will lead and manage multiple high-impact projects that enhance both remote and in-person work experiences. This role focuses on fostering team gatherings, developing remote-first programming, and driving the future of work strategy. You will conduct new and creative analyses of situations and information to drive strategic program execution.

Responsibilities:

Design Connection and Collaboration Programs: Lead the development and management of global initiatives such as connection stipends, event grants, and team gatherings to enhance employee engagement and cultural alignment.
Develop Remote-First Programming: Create and implement innovative remote-first programs that support employee engagement and effective collaboration in a distributed work environment.
Strategic Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact projects. Develop detailed project plans, set clear milestones, manage resources, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize data and analytics to track key metrics, measure program effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement. Partner with People Analytics to leverage insights for future program enhancements.
Communication and Change Management: Design and implement change management and communication strategies to drive successful adoption of new programs and initiatives. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in program/project management, with a proven track record in managing complex, cross-functional projects.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making and program evaluation.
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strategic mindset and the ability to manage both detailed tasks and big-picture strategies.
Customer-centric approach and adept at navigating through ambiguity.
Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Nice to haves:

PMP or equivalent project management certification.
Experience in developing workplace culture across distributed offices.
Proficiency in Google Workspace and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira).
Background in event design and production.
Experience in connection/collaboration programming.

Pay Transparency Notice: Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full time offers from Coinbase also include target bonus + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision and 401(k)).

Pay Range:

$124,780—$146,800 USD
