Position Description:
We are looking for an Engineering Summer Intern to join our ICE Group in our Taylor office. The candidate must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering (junior or senior status preferred) and possess a valid driver's license. Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Assist in design reports and construction plans
- Assist with the coordinate preparation of specifications and permit submittals
- Assist in the preparation of preliminary project cost estimates and evaluate quantities
- Document design changes and communications
- Conduct on-site inspections as needed
- Maintain excellent client relations
- Maintain a safe working environment
Education:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
Skills/Experience:
- Driver's License required
