Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of Workday financial systems, working with internal finance stakeholders and external implementation specialists to ensure the initial system setup aligns with business requirements and objectives.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting mapping and journal entry rules within Workday to drive towards the goal of routine journal entry automation.
  • Lead general maintenance of the system, ensuring GL structure and mapping are aligned to changes in the business for accounting inputs and reporting requirements. This includes assisting in the maintenance of other ancillary business systems and the proper integration into Workday.
  • Conduct testing and validation of system changes, ensuring accuracy and integrity post-implementation.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and implement solutions that enhance system performance and user experience as well as participate in finance transformation initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement efforts across the finance organization.
  • Stay current on Workday updates and new features, assessing their impact on the organization and recommending adoption strategies where appropriate.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, fostering a positive user experience and promoting best practices.
