Responsibilities
- Develop the sales force to ensure the region's annual sales and business development goals are met
- Participate in defining, updating, and translating the Sales & Marketing strategy into business targets, budgets and tangible plans and eventually delivering the expected deliverables
- Responsible for attracting and retaining customers and ensuring development of a highly professional relationship to the various decision makers within the customer's organization
- Drive and manage the customer value proposition to secure growth and a profitable sales development
- Manage development of overall standards and guidelines for Sales & Marketing, including pricing, service, promotion, and advertising
- Drive, develop and deploy best practices within Sales & Marketing
- Identify, develop, and oversee Business opportunities
- Analyze sales programs and adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness
- Coordinate customer issues with relevant department & maintains a one-point customer contact
- Manage and maintain relationships with key accounts and partners
- Measure, display and circulate commercial results, including periodical forecasts (monthly)
- Work and align with the CRO and Advisors to create a comprehensive strategic sales plan to expand and penetrate the enterprise market across the US at the first step and grow revenue
- Create effective sales processes and operations that are scalable
- Build senior-level relationships at leading Tier One automotive suppliers and in other target industries as the business evolves
- Work with the leadership team to evolve sales processes and lead and pipeline management
- Be accountable for weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas as well as results tracking and reporting
- Build, motivate, and manage an effective sales team structured to meet and exceed the company's revenue and market penetration goals and objectives
- Choose KPIs that will drive the attainment of goals and objectives, bring them to life, and measure progress utilizing real-time dashboards
- Be disciplined to promote the habits of sales plans and daily work schedules to call on existing or potential sales targets
- Represent Apera's products and services with a deep understanding of the market and with specific attention to meeting customer needs
Desired Qualifications
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with existing customers to ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities and referral requests
- Understand the Apera value proposition to personally find and negotiate and close profitable deals; if there are challenges, work with senior executives to either improve the Apera value provided or learn how Apera provides value to improve ability to handle objections
