Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance role.
  • Familiarity with Accounting software.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, initiative, and attention to detail with the capability of working independently.
Responsibilities
  • Set-up projects in the accounting system, reviewing and maintaining project-related documents, including contracts and amendments, revenue recognition, reviewing and approving timesheets, data analysis, and processing invoices that align with client and contract requirements.
  • Assist with training of Group Managers, Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers and other technical staff in project accounting processes.
  • Proactively review pre-developed monitoring analytical tools and skilled in building basic analytic tools to provide project managers and general managers with data for gaps in target goals and for reporting purposes.
  • Conduct required analysis for assigned groups and projects to identify errors and to ensure accurate revenue recognition and work-in-progress management.
  • Become technical expert for clients or client types that are complex and/or have specialized requirements as assigned.
  • Occasional travel between offices is required, as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related field
  • Accounting experience working in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry
