  • Enrolled in a BA or BS degree program with a concentration in Communications, Marketing or Business Administration
  • Knowledge and Skills:
  • Solid writing and editing skills (English)
  • Creative skills, to suggest communication strategy improvements. Familiarity with Digital and video content technologies would be appreciated
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interface with all staff levels of the organization, while maintaining professionalism and discretion
  • Strong Organization and program management skills
  • Ability to link communications plans and activities to business results
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of employee communications methodologies, tools and vehicles
Responsibilities
  • Establish an internal communications strategy in conjunction with senior management
  • Develop, and drive employee communications strategies and programs to ensure initiatives are successfully communicated to employees
  • Plan, edit, write and create content for a variety of channels (intranet, emails, executive presentations, videos,…)
  • Understand the communications needs of various internal audiences (i.e., field, senior leaders, HR, first-level managers, all employees) crafting messages that are impactful and lead to desired outcomes
  • Provide consultancy to recommend best-fit solution to meet business objectives
  • May manage and direct assigned agencies or contractors
  • May manage functional budgets
