Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to internal business partners with respect to various pharmacy, healthcare and operations initiatives.
  • Support in identifying business and legal risks and propose solutions which balance legal issues and business objectives.
  • Support the legal and regulatory review of various pharmacy and healthcare offerings.
  • Assist in researching applicable pharmacy laws and regulations.
  • Manage legal aspects of regulatory inquiries, investigations, and enforcement actions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the Legal Department, including Board of Pharmacy, Licensing, Privacy, Medicare, and Medicaid SMEs, as well as with external counsel.
Desired Qualifications
  • Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Experience with Boards of Pharmacy.
  • Experience with regulatory matters or enforcement defense.
