Requirements
  • Strong financial skills, including at least two years of analytical experience in the financial sector.
  • Candidate must possess strong quantitative abilities, strategic perspective, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Minimum Required: Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Minimum Required: 2-5 years of direct experience in primary research, preferably with an ability to provide idea generation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with Bloomberg and FactSet
Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough credit research on current holdings and evaluate issuers for future security selection.
  • Provide written reports on trends in all sectors of the investment grade fixed income market.
  • Provide ongoing surveillance and relative value recommendations accordingly.
  • Communicate with the firm’s other offices.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with management of entities under coverage.
  • Develop and maintain Responsible Investing (RI) contacts on the bond side.
  • Regular communication and meetings with portfolio managers in all offices is expected.
  • Respond to requests for data, information and calls from internal and external clients.
  • Some client and internal presentations are expected.
  • Other duties as assigned, such as writing topical white papers or serving on various committees.
