What you’ll be doing...

Design, develop, and manage on-prem infrastructure and application architecture; architect and deploy Red Hat based infrastructure solution, build and maintain cost-efficient, scalable on-prem environment, design Kubernetes network architecture and implement multiple Kubernetes clusters in a Dev, Pre-Prod, UAT, and Production environment; manage enterprise Big Data environments, and identify best on-prem architecture options; maintain and manage AWS cloud infrastructure for the AWS premises; build and enhance On-Prem HPE c7000 BladeSystem hardware and software – assess current environment and advise on the changes needed to implement highly available on-prem Kubernetes infrastructure, and enable Self-Healing capability to create fault-tolerant environments; responsible for build and release management with the implementation of cloud security standards – integrate application code/image scanning tools, identify new tools/technologies, and lead infrastructure team to build, enhance, and maintain highly available on-prem and cloud Kubernetes infrastructure; ensure Elasticsearch clusters continue to run under optimal conditions and evaluate existing Elastic clusters; secure access to Elasticsearch cluster, its data and APIs and troubleshoot issues; lead and participate in application deployment and continuous integration; suggest architecture/process improvement; evaluate new technology options and vendor products, ensure critical system security, define and implement CI and CD automation for micro service, monolithic applications and deploy web applications in Apache Tomcat and implement Ansible to deploy the builds for Dev and QA environments.

What we’re looking for...

Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or as a computer systems/software engineer, DevOps engineer or specialist/track lead, AWS architect, or in a related/similar position. Experience therein to include 5 years in WebLogic administration or middleware management, using WebLogic, Apache web server, and Unix Shell scripting; 4 years with AWS development, migration of the on-premise DMAT application to AWS Linux environment, on-prem Kubernetes infrastructure, enabling self-healing capability for Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Web servers, application servers, or device technology applications to create fault-tolerant environments, enabling encrypted communications in Elasticsearch and authentication in Kibana; and 4 years in creating highly available and scalable infrastructure in AWS cloud using various AWS services, configuring AWS IAM group and users, designing Kubernetes network architecture, containerizing applications, implementing and supporting enterprise Hadoop environment consisting of design, performance fine-tuning, monitoring, scaling and administration. Hybrid role, ability to work from home.
