- Develop and own relationships with a diverse set of cross-functional partners, including engineering peers, business operations, communications, governance teams, and executives.
- Grow the team over the coming year by evaluating existing talent structures, advocating for additional resourcing and hiring into new open positions.
- Clearly and concisely present your vision and strategic recommendations to stakeholders having varying degrees of tech fluency.
- Manage and prioritize requests from partners and set realistic expectations. Transparently communicate updates on priority projects on a regular basis.
- Build a culture of engineering excellence and best practices
- Enhance the team’s abilities to report on performance, focus on impact, and provide transparency about critical workstreams.
- Be a creative and innovative problem solver, comfortable with helping partners think and solve difficult business challenges.
- Thrive on partnership and build the bridge between the requirements of the business, and today’s and tomorrow’s tech capabilities
Ideal candidates will have:
- Demonstrated track record and experience scaling and growing teams and being able to deliver with pace.
- Demonstrable experience navigating large, complex enterprises and managing multiple stakeholders while driving improved associate experiences.
- Repeated success driving large platform migrations, deployments, and sunsets.
- Consistently coached different engineering roles (e.g. data engineers, software developers, business intelligence, etc.) and grown leadership (managers and senior individual contributors) on your teams throughout your career.
- Deep subject matter expertise and demonstrated leadership experience with Microsoft 365, including emphasis on Sharepoint and Exchange
- A strong understanding of Microsoft licensing structures and how to optimize those costs
- General tech fluency with adjacent engineering areas and how they affect and interface with the experience of M365 products: network, endpoint management, authentication and identity management
- A product mindset—being able to start with the target end-user experience in mind
