Requirements
  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related Engineering field
Responsibilities
  • Generate requirements by interviewing stakeholders and understanding their needs
  • Prepare concepts using CREO and CAD Software
  • Generate engineering calculations of weight distribution, stress analysis, performance estimations, etc
  • Design schematics and block diagrams with CREO Schematics and M.S. Visio
  • Integrate perception sensors including cameras, radar, lidar, etc
  • Write software with ROS2, C, Parker IQAN, PolyScope and other vendor specific software
  • Perform simulations in Gazebo and other software
  • Perform or assist in the testing of complete vehicles or vehicle components
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Active role in engineering club or individual projects outside the classroom
  • Ability to work independently
  • Previous ROS2 and Gazebo simulation experience
