Requirements
  • Expertise in developing brands and products on Amazon
  • Drive execution by owning tasks from start to finish
  • Skilled at building winning relationships externally and internally and approaching difficult conversations with honesty and courage
  • Shape and apply strategy by anticipating business needs and developing plans that deliver results
  • Apply critical thinking to issues and opportunities and demonstrate creative problem-solving abilities
  • Possess a proven track record of achieving sales volume, spending, and profitability goals
  • 5+ years experience in eCommerce or retail
  • 3+ years' experience building brands on Amazon
  • 2+ Years of management experience
  • 3+ Years of Sales Experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods, preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field
Responsibilities
  • Manage day to day operations of large, key brands and manage expansion to achieve gross sales targets and growth, new item distribution goals, and all other brand/item targets, and assist in managing day to day operations of other existing brands as needed
  • Demonstrate industry, channel, and competitor knowledge and connect with customers to deliver fact-based information about products, nutrition, and trends
  • Work with PPC Specialist to align PPC and Marketing strategy aligns with overall Brand goal and work to implement
  • Perform Analytics of Sales Data, Promotions, and general trends to develop strategy and work to implement
  • Work with Director of eCommerce to identify process improvements and new initiatives and assist in implementation
  • Responsible for the development and presentation of fact-based, analytical, and compelling sales presentations that provide ongoing education and category management insight
  • Responsible for ownership of day to day activities at assigned Amazon businesses. Develop comprehensive and aligned annual plans within Distribution, Pricing, Promotion and Virtual Shelving for Amazon business segments. Include recommendations for forecasted sales and spending by month and annual promotional calendar
  • Collaborate with all functional areas of Golden Hippo including Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, IT, Customer Marketing and Product Development
  • Build and execute strategies and tactics at customer level. Ensure planned programs are both effective, efficient, and deliver desired ROI
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
