  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience with building test automation frameworks for mobile web and desktop apps and REST API's
  • Minimum 3 years of hands on experience in independently configuring and testing cloud-based Unified Communication systems involving voice, video and chat/messaging
  • Prior working experience with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 and PowerShell
  • 3 years of experience with test automation development using Java & Python, Junit, TestNG, Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, REST-Assured and Appium from the ground up
  • 3 years of experience in SIP,SDP, RTP,RTCP, TCP,UDP, XMPP and TLS/DTLS protocols
  • Strong understanding of networking and routing protocols
  • Ability to independently capture & analyze traffic and debug issues across multiple network elements/subsystems
  • Strong understanding of PBX telephone systems and its features
  • Hands-on experience building CI automation pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
  • Experience working with public cloud (OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with engineering tools such as Git, JIRA, TestRail, Confluence
  • Sound knowledge of Manual & Automation Testing best practices in QE
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Design, develop and execute end-to-end test strategy for unified communication solutions involving industry-established multiple UC solutions providers
  • Architect, design, develop, deploy and maintain tooling, framework, and infrastructure to help engineering teams measure and increase their velocity
  • Develop and maintain test automation framework and scripts serving various phases of testing platform/ applications having Mobile, Web and Desktop clients running on Windows, Mac OS and Linux
  • Evangelize best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability
  • Contribute to most of the following areas: web app testing, mobile app testing, script/tool generation, test automation, Continuous Integration / Delivery (CI/CD), test plan generation, documentation, problem-solving/analysis, troubleshooting complex issues, and bug/defect tracking and reporting
  • Perform extensive manual and automated functionality, integration, regression, interoperability and end-to-end system testing when necessary
  • Evaluate and integrate open source & proprietary tools/libraries to the existing automation
  • Work closely with Engineering and Operations teams to ensure that the highest quality software is deployed safely and quickly
  • Adhere to 8x8 policies, processes and standards
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and isolate defects and report them to a bug tracking database (JIRA)
  • Work with geo-dispersed cross-functional teams for timely delivery of high-quality releases
  • Collaboration with customers and tool/platform partners in getting resolution of issues
Desired Qualifications
  • Microsoft 365 Certification in “Teams Voice Engineer Expert”
  • Prior experience in implementation/testing of Bring Your Own Carrier(BYOC)
  • Experience with Genesys, Citrix/LogMeIn, Zoom, Call2Teams
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft, their ecosystem specifically AzureAD
