Our challenge
Synechron is looking for a dynamic Technology Consultant/Solution Architect with strong project management experience to join our team. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering innovative technological solutions that meet our clients’ needs. Candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop architectural designs, and oversee the implementation of solutions while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York, NY is $145k - $150k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives and technology needs.
Design and architect scalable and efficient technology solutions that align with client requirements.
Lead project management activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
Develop project timelines, resource allocation plans, and risk management strategies.
Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and present solutions.
Ensure the successful delivery of projects by coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing project scope.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients.
Create and maintain documentation related to solution design, architecture, and project management processes.
Mentor junior team members and assist in their professional development.
Requirements:
You are:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
Proven experience as a Technology Consultant, Solution Architect, or similar role with a strong emphasis on project management.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
Experience in designing and implementing technology solutions in areas such as cloud computing, data analytics, enterprise applications, or infrastructure.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering results.
Familiarity with relevant technologies, frameworks, and tools.
