Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate degree in Accounting or Business preferred
  • Minimum of 4 years of related accounting clerical experience
  • Payroll and General Ledger experience preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of computerized accounting techniques and accounting principles
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Responsibilities
  • Perform assigned accounting and related clerical support functions, including data entry and record retention
  • Complete payroll-related activities, including timekeeping review, maintenance, and pay calculations
  • Process internal cash collection, special order/drop ship billing, and Credit/Debit memos as needed
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination between the distribution center, Head Office, and Shared Service Center to resolve accounting, customer, and vendor-related issues
Desired Qualifications
  • Payroll and General Ledger experience preferred
  • Experience in foodservice distribution or a similar industry is a plus
