Provides accounting and clerical support in an effort to deliver accurate and timely finance and accounting services in support of the Area Finance Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides accounting and clerical support to ensure accurate and timely finance and accounting services in support of the Area Finance Manager.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned accounting and related clerical support functions, including data entry and record retention.

• Complete payroll-related activities, including timekeeping review, maintenance, and pay calculations.

• Process internal cash collection, special order/drop ship billing, and Credit/Debit memos as needed.

• Establish and maintain effective communication and coordination between the distribution center, Head Office, and Shared Service Center to resolve accounting, customer, and vendor-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting or Business preferred.

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of related accounting clerical experience. Payroll and General Ledger experience preferred. Experience in foodservice distribution or a similar industry is a plus.

• Skills & Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of computerized accounting techniques and accounting principles.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Schedule, Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation for this role depends on relevant experience, education, skills, and location.

• Schedule: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM

• Expected Base Rate: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.  The expected base rate for this role is between $18 - $28. This role will also receive overtime compensation. ​​Benefits for this role may include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance. $19 - $29
