Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, is required.
  • High-level knowledge of machinery and production systems is required.
Responsibilities
  • Direct and monitor the activities of production personnel and manage resources used in manufacturing packaging solutions.
  • Comply with safety and company policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • Own process improvement and enhance safety, quality, production, and financial results.
  • Foster morale and employee engagement, improve employee retention, and support continuous improvement.
  • Ensure production steps meet customer product specifications and products are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Manage the employee performance cycle, including interviewing candidates, training and developing team members, recommending advancement and promotions, coaching, counseling, and employment discharge.
  • Demonstrate correct processes by providing instruction, learning aids, resources, and documentation.
  • Serve as the technical process expert for production, planning, scheduling, preventive maintenance actions, and budgetary matters.
  • Document employee performance results, goals, and training progress.
  • Work reasonable mandatory overtime when required by business needs.
Desired Qualifications
  • An Associate degree is preferred.
  • Blow molding or injection molding experience is a plus.
  • Computer skills are preferred.
  • A drive to pursue continuous improvement is preferred.
