Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or billing
  • At least 3 years of customer service experience
  • B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent work experience
  • The ability to work accurately and independently
  • Highly motivated and a self-starter who can quickly pick up new skills and enhance existing processes
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Clear, direct, and empathetic communication in both one-on-one and team settings; able to deal effectively when needing to reduce tension or conflict
  • Willingness to be part of a team…cooperating with others to get the right answers quickly
  • Maintains stable performance while under pressure or opposition, handling stress with grace and tact
Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and be able to de-escalate and resolve conflicts on a regular basis
  • Draft key client deliverables, including customer invoices and credit memos
  • Assist in the resolution of billing discrepancies and disputes
  • Assist with monthly closing procedures
  • Compiling, interpreting, and summarizing billing data
  • Support accounting operations and client service staff with customer analyses and communication
  • Operate an electronic billing system and works with database software
  • Compile and review reports
  • Work with collections team to pursue past due payments
Desired Qualifications
  • NetSuite experience, is a plus
