Requirements
  • A life sciences degree is required.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare copy for medical communication projects, including abstracts, scientific posters, manuscripts, slide decks, and medical affairs deliverables, meeting company standards for grammar, scientific accuracy, and client objectives.
  • Ensure assigned work is delivered within budget and according to promised deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients and external thought leaders to ensure the smooth running of assigned projects.
  • Interpret and incorporate internal and external review comments while ensuring consistency, scientific accuracy, and industry compliance.
  • Share relevant information with editorial and client services team members.
  • Maintain awareness of therapeutic areas, competitors, new products, and new indications for relevant accounts.
  • Assist the client services team by discussing changes in project specifications or deadlines that affect project budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Record and monitor actual versus budgeted time on projects, complete timesheets accurately, and submit them weekly to the line manager, relevant client services leads, and finance department.
  • Keep abreast of industry self-regulation and compliance guidelines and client standard operating procedures, maintaining compliant working practices.
Desired Qualifications
  • A science master's degree or PhD is ideal.
  • Experience or knowledge spanning pharmaceutical industry processes and medical communications is desirable.
