Requirements
- Ideally 3-6 years of audit and/or corporate operations/finance experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of risk assessment, control analysis, audit procedures and standards.
- Knowledge of sampling techniques, risk components, and the internal framework of control.
- Project management and analytical skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain ongoing relationships with business group partners.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Understanding and/or experience in technology and application systems work is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree, or graduate degree, with a focus in finance, accounting, corporate business operations and systems.
- Certification including one or more of: CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM are a plus but not required.
- Up to 30% local travel in the New Jersey/Pennsylvania area with limited overnight travel out of the area.
Responsibilities
- Participate in all phases of the audit including planning, control analysis, testing, issue development and report writing.
- Engage in extensive dialog with business unit management.
- Audit areas associated with Financial Management, Human Resources, Shared Services, Corporate Governance, and Corporate Technology.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Center Audit Team in auditing these areas.
- Apply risk assessment, control analysis, and audit procedures and standards as part of audit work.
- Maintain knowledge of the organization’s processes and controls to support audits.
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications including one or more of CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM are a plus but not required.
- Understanding and/or experience in technology and application systems work is a plus.
