Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience as a digital designer at a media company, agency, or in-house creative team.
  • Strong foundation in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma.
  • Editorial expertise and judgement, with the ability to pair an article concept with a compelling visual execution.
  • A knack for visual storytelling through editorial design, data visualization, and web page layouts.
  • Ability to not only work within brand style guidelines, but also be able to expand and augment on those concepts through new ideas.
  • Design aficionado with an impressive portfolio that showcases your technical strengths in digital.
  • Creative thinker, continual learner, incredibly organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Clear communicator with excellent collaboration skills.
  • Experience or understanding of motion graphics animation via After Effects.
  • Self-starter with a “let's roll up our sleeves and get it done” attitude.
Responsibilities
  • Be a ‘SME (subject matter expert)’ focused on the enhancement and aggregation of The Trade Desk’s and The Current’s digital footprint across web, email, digital advertising, and social media holistically from a creative/brand perspective.
  • Work closely with our Creative, Editorial, and Digital Marketing teams to design and develop articles, landing pages, emails and all related graphic assets (Craft, Marketo, Knack, Infogram, Ceros, and Splash).
  • Work closely with our Editorial, Social, and Employer Brand teams to design and develop article images, infographics, promotional assets, etc. our initiatives – all while diligently optimizing for current trends and best practices.
  • Identify new and innovative creative ideas and technologies to tell dynamic and engaging stories that enhance the customer experience — like robust microsites, apps, interactive event booths, etc. — to help us achieve our goals and raise the bar across our digital verticals and campaigns.
  • Present and justify your creative approach with team members and senior management.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize workflow, and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Desired Qualifications
  • Social graphic experience in creating static or animated visual assets for existing campaigns.
  • Web and email design/development experience (building landing pages and emails through a CMS; basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript a plus).
  • Experience designing/developing rich media ads (HTML5, DOOH, video, audio).
